LTI seeks to contract the best interpreters possible. Once interpreters are contracted and have completed LTI’s basic orientation to interpreting, LTI relies upon client feedback, job shadowing and on-going training to make sure its interpreters are the best available and exceeding expectations.

In addition to LTI’s high expectations for interpreter excellence and professionalism, LTI insists on providing beyond-expectations customer service. It’s not enough that an individual be a great interpreter, the interpreter must also radiate a customer service attitude. As a company, not only do we strive to provide those top-notch interpreters, we also develop our relationship with client companies so they come to see us as their partner who cares about their business and their clients.

LANGUAGEtech, Inc. is a founding member and remains affiliated with Iowa Interpreters and Translators Association (IITA). IITA is an association of professional translators and interpreters in Iowa. They conduct education and training as well as promote the advancement of the profession. Many of our interpreters also train through this program.
